WFP's regional Emergency Operation (EMOP 200761) is focused on supporting the medical response to stop the spread of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) by meeting the basic food and nutrition needs of affected families and communities in Sierra Leone, Guinea & Liberia. The regional WFP Special Operation (SO 200773) augments the capacity of the humanitarian response under the UN system umbrella and supports UNMEER efforts to stop the spread of Ebola. The Country Programme (CP 200336, currently on hold) focused on school feeding, supplementary feeding for vulnerable populations and livelihood support; targeted support to patients with HIV/TB is ongoing.
