In Week 21, there was no new EVD confirmed Case reported from Kambia district. ( Pls. see Table 1 above). In the previous Week 20, there was one confirmed case from Meni-Curve village, Magbema Chiefdom on May 14, 2015. For all deaths and live alerts which met the case definition, swab and blood laboratory testing was conducted and all alerts were found to be EVD negative.
Furthermore, the confirmed case mentioned above (35, M on May 14, 2015) from Meni-Curve died while receiving treatment at the Ebola Treatment Center (ETC) on May 21, 2015.
