This Emergency Appeal seeks CHF 880,000 to enable the IFRC to support the Sierra Leone Red Cross Society to deliver assistance and support to some 6 million people, with a focus on information and communication, surveillance, case identification and contact management, case management (including body management), psychosocial support, and regional preparedness and response. The planned response reflects the current situation and information available at this point of the evolving operation, and will be adjusted based on further developments and more detailed assessments.
