Highlights
- Over 200mt of cargo transported to-date, including ambulances, motorbikes and Per- sonal Protection Equipment (PPE) kits, via the two German C-160 aircraft from Accra to the Ebola- affected countries.
- WFP has already dispatched 83% of essential items to health facilities in Liberia as part of its January Dispatch Plan; the remaining 17% will to be completed by 16 January.
- WFP Aviation has so far conducted two Med- ical Evacuation (Medevac) trainings in Guin- ea: the first was organised in partnership with ALIMA in Macenta, and the second, was organised in partnership with MSF- Belgium in Guéckédou.
- The Emergency Telecoms Cluster is providing Internet connectivity in 25 locations across the three Ebola-affected countries ensuring reliable Internet access for 559 humanitarian staff.
