Liberia: Ebola Situation Update – 10-17 November

Regional Outbreak

**Reported Cases**: 14,383 cases of Ebola and 5,165 deaths have been reported in Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone (Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone each reported over 10-11 November) (WHO 14/11/2014).

**Spread of the disease**: A U.S. official estimated there are 3,000 active cases of Ebola in West Africa, many of them in small clusters throughout the countries (international media 13/11/2014)

Gap: Only 62% of Ebola-affected districts across the three countries have access to lab services, according to WHO (IRIN 12/11/2014).
