Highlights:
Two patients admitted to the Bong County Ebola Treatment Unit (ETU) in Liberia, have recovered very well and have received negative test results.
They were released on Monday, 29 September.As of 28 September, the Bong County ETU has admitted 41 patients. To date, 10 patients have died, nine have been discharged, and 22 are currently receiving care. The International Medical Corps ambulance team has picked up a total of 22 patients.
In Sierra Leone, International Medical Corps has broken ground on the Lunsar ETU in Port Loko District, with land clearing completed on 27 September. A technical assessment was conducted with Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) and OXFAM to begin the borehole drilling, drainage, and water systems.
