Sierra Leone: Full List of Donations Made on Tuesday 9th September at State House toward the Fight Against Ebola

1. London Mining made a cheque donation of Le.400,000,000 (Four Hundred Million Leones)towards the fight against the Ebola outbreak

2. Sierra Minerals Holdings/Vimetco donated Le.367,180,000 (Three Hundred and Sixty-Seven Million, One Hundred and Eighty Thousand Leones) to fight the outbreak and also cash donation of Le.132,000,000 (One Hundred and Thirty-Two Million Leones) to the Sierra Leone Embassy in Russia. The company also donated 1000 heavy duty Jonsson Gum Boots, 250 high visibility Jonsson bodysuits and 40 (0.5) seconds fast response infrared thermometer (non-contact) (IR Range) equivalent of Le.235,180,000

3. Sierra Diamonds Ltd. made cheque donation of Le.25,000,000 (Twenty-Five Million Leones)

4. Golden Saints Resources donated a cheque of Le.25,000,000 (Twenty-Five Million Leones)

5. Allotropes Mining made a cash donation of $10,000 (Ten Thousand United States Dollars)

6. Blue Horizon (SL) Ltd. donated the sum of Le.25,000,000 (Twenty-Five Million Leones)

7. Sewa Mining Company made a contribution of Le.25,000,000 (Twenty-Five Million Leones)

8. AMR Gold also donated towards the fight against Ebola with a cheque of Le.10,000,000 (Ten Million Leones) and a forty feet container of medical supplies and equipment that are on the high seas

9. Dr Adonis Aboud led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mrs. Ebun Strasser-King donated Cardio-Sonogram machine to beef up the health sector (Please note this is not an Ebola donation)

10. SocFin also donated Le.60,000,000 (Sixty Million Leones) to boost the fight against the outbreak

11. National Commission for Democracy (NCD) contributed 10% of the salaries of staff to the tune of Le.25,000,000 (Twenty-Five Million Leones) towards the Ebola fight

12. Rev. Dr Themistoclese Adamopoulo & Team donated Le.20,000,000 (Twenty Million Leones) and assorted medical supplies and equipment to help fight the Ebola virus

Please note that all donations made to the President are immediately handed over to a representative of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) which is the central command and control facility responsible for implementation of the national response plan to the outbreak.
